Membrane Switch / Flame Retardant

GGI International has developed a backlit tactile keypad solution that complies with the stringent vertical burn requirements of the aerospace industry. The new requirements of the aerospace industry specify that all materials used in the construction of equipment deployed in aircraft cabins must be compliant. Therefore, the User Interface must be compliant as a stand alone component and we can proudly say that our solution has been tested and qualified. Qualification tests being performed on a cross section of GGI's User Interface Assembly demonstrated that the assembly self extinguished after 2 seconds of exposure improving the 15 second vertical burn requirement.
