OVERVIEW:
GGI International uses a computerized colorimetry system ensuring commercially acceptable color-matching is achieved at all times. As the majority of the color standards are established using a surface of white, opaque paper, the result, when sub-surface printed, varies widely. This is why our computerized color matching process is important.
During the color matching phase at GGI, color chips will be manufactured using the same materials used in production and are submitted for customer approval. Once approved, the formulas are entered into our computer system and become the basis for all future projects requiring the same specifications. During the entire GGI International approval process, the customer can obtain color samples in order to make sure that they correspond to the desired result.
ACCEPTABLE COLOR REFERENCES:
- Established matching systems:
- Pantone: Solid or Process or Tints, in Coated and Uncoated finishes
- RAL European Color Systems
- Federal Standard 595A System

- CMYK Reference:
Using CMYK reference (CYAN/MAGENTA/YELLOW/BLACK), GGI International will be able to find the PANTONE colour that most closely matches your original colour. - Color sample:
If you require an exact reproduction of the color from one of your existing parts or if you do not use established color systems and are not able to obtain the CMYK reference, you can simply provide us with a sample and GGI International will reproduce that color by analyzing it using a spectrophotometer. - Complete graphic layout using four-color process:
For graphic layouts that do not use solid colors but rather rasterized images and objects, GGI International can print directly using a four-color process. This process enables us to obtain the complete range of colors by printing the four CMYK basic colors.
