Silicone rubber keypads and keypad overlays have become a very popular choice for a host of reasons. There is a perception of quality and a user-friendly appeal inherent in a molded silicone overlay that may not be present in a similar design featuring a printed graphic film overlay.
Using relatively inexpensive compression molds, GGI International can offer three-dimensional features only limited by your imagination. Raised keys, LED annunciators and logos are just some of the ways molded silicone can enhance a keypad design. Typically, our customers will design the basic size and key layout. Our designers will complete the design including the intricate flexing web features which will provide excellent tactile response. GGI will recommend surface finishes, durometer levels, hard coating options and all other related necessary aspects.
